360 degree feedback

360 feedback, also known as multi-rater feedback, is commonly used in leadership development and performance management.  The process involves obtaining quantitative and qualitative feedback from multiple respondents to provide a comprehensive and well-rounded view of an individual’s strengths and development areas. These sources may include Line Managers, peers, subordinates, customers, and other stakeholders who interact regularly with the individual.

Working with a coach to debrief the results, the individual gains increased self-awareness and insight into how their behaviour and actions impact others and where their performance could be improved.  Blind-spots, both positive and negative, may be revealed allowing a tailored development plan to be created to enhance performance.

The results enable alignment of the individual’s goals with organisational goals, as organisations can provide targeted training and development opportunities in line with strategic objectives, ultimately contributing to improved overall organisational performance .
